Plan and billing
Chrona Scheduler is free. Chrona Workforce Scheduler is a monthly subscription: from A$1,000 a month, 50 resources included. See pricing.
What a billed resource is
A billed resource is a person or asset that a completed optimization assigned work to. Each counts once per billing period, however many runs, views, calendars or environments it appears in.
- The work is what counts. An optimization counts when it completes, whether or not you apply its result.
- Assigned, not considered. People the optimizer considered but did not assign do not count. Nor do unavailable people or records that are only there as rule input.
- A result is needed. An optimization that returns no result does not count.
- Once a period. Optimizing again, or splitting a roster across views or calendars, never counts anyone twice.
- Every environment. A record with the same ID in another environment is the same resource.
Optimizing is not charged per run.
How the price builds up
The monthly charge includes the first 50 billed resources. Above 50, each resource is charged at the rate of its band: 51 to 150 at A$18 each, 151 to 400 at A$15, 401 to 1,000 at A$12, and above 1,000 at A$10. The bands are graduated, so adding a resource can never lower an invoice.
What the page shows
Plan and billing shows each product’s status and the billed resources this period: the running count, the split by environment and by calendar, and earlier periods. Someone rostered by two calendars counts under both, and their charge splits between them.
The primary owner, admins and billing admins also see the estimate of the next invoice with its GST, the payment and tax details, and the latest invoices. See Invoices and GST.
If a payment fails
Everything keeps working with a warning until the date the page shows. After that, Auto Schedule and Generate pause until the open invoice is paid. Boards, manual rostering, editing and publishing keep working, and no data is locked.
Cancel
Select Manage billing to cancel. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and the last invoice bills that period’s resources. Then the account is back on the free plan: scheduling works as before, and Auto Schedule has its free daily allowance.
