  • Read exactly what a run sends before the first run
  • Failed runs do not count against the allowance
  • Scheduling keeps working when the allowance is used
How Optimize works

Prices in Australian dollars. Tax is calculated at checkout. Microsoft licensing for Power Apps and Dataverse is separate and stays with Microsoft or your partner.

The meter

You pay for people who were rostered.
Not for people who might be.

A scheduled person is a resource record holding at least one assignment in a roster you kept, for a day inside the billing period. Each person counts once per period.

More questions answered

Publishing is the billable act

Drafts, discarded plans and comparison scenarios never bill, however many people they contain.

Candidates never count

People Optimize considered but did not assign, unavailable staff and people present only as rule input are never billed.

A day settles when it ends

Until the scheduling day ends in your time zone, republishing replaces it. After that the count stands, and corrections go through support.

You can see the count

The Chrona Portal shows the running count for the period, the people contributing to it and which days are settled.

How to upgrade

Two steps.

Email [email protected]. We send the Chrona Workforce Scheduler package and set up the subscription in Stripe. Import the package over the scheduler you already have. Same board, more tables.

Self-serve checkout from the Chrona Portal is next.

Constraint packs, planned. Maintained rule sets for specific industries, as a per-pack add-on to a subscription. Partners will author packs against a published format. Not available yet.
Straight answers

What is free,
what is paid.

The boundaries, in plain words.

What is free?

The scheduler, for good, with no account. Optimize, for three completed runs a day per connected environment. Chrona Workforce Scheduler is the paid solution.

What counts as a scheduled person?

A distinct resource record holding at least one assignment in a roster you kept, for a scheduling day inside the billing period, counted once per period. Distinctness is by Dataverse record.

What happens if a payment fails?

A grace period keeps everything working with a warning. After it, Optimize and Generate pause until payment is made. Viewing, manual rostering, editing and publishing continue, and no data is locked.

What keeps working if Chrona is unreachable?

Everything on your own data: viewing, rostering, editing, publishing and Generate. Optimize pauses, and after 24 hours the scheduler bar says so, with Retry.

Are implementation services included?

No. Chrona supports its packages and its documentation. Consultancies and integrators implement; we do not sell implementation hours.

Can we start without Optimize?

Yes. The scheduler is complete on its own. Optimize is one click away when you want it.
